Dude, I was TOTALLY saving "The Nasty Dance" for another day. It brings me joy to see our young cast getting nasty! getting happy! after that chilling journey into the darkest reaches of the soul. And when they say they are going to "tell momma" about how "ooh you so nasty," I am emboldened with the knowledge that their once-troubled familial relationship is on the healing road to recovery.

Unless "The Nasty Dance" came first, in which case, well, getting nasty! getting happy! is just the gateway drug to the crack, rock.

This overwhelming response tells me I need to get back to doing things that have nothing to do with American Idol.

This totally sent me off on a YouTube quest to find "Funky Y2C". Sadly, there's no actual video for it--just a handful of clips of caucasian teenage girls vigorously booty dancing to what they must consider "some weird old song." Not that there's anything wrong with that...
